Knit Now Issue 138 - Out Now!
This issue is full of glorious textures and rich shades sure to inspire you. First up, the stunning Lotus sweater on our cover – the unusual stitchwork and design of this makes it a must-try (p 11). Anni Howard’s quirky intarsia cardigan (p 42) is inspired by legendary knitter Patricia Roberts, and we have a lovely Gansey-inspired knit (p 28) that is simpler than it looks! Throw in the new versatile Stylecraft tunic (p 73) and a Rowan vest (p 56), and you’re spoilt for choice!
For those of you looking to try texture on a smaller scale, I’ve plenty to recommend. The cream poncho on page 24 is a classic and really wearable piece; Lana Jois’s beautiful nature-inspired shawl (p 48) is sure to appeal to lace knitting fans, or why not give our cute and colourful mitts a go (p 20), based on the designs of Portuguese tiles?
And if you’re hiding away from the changeable weather, there’s something for you to read with a nice hot cuppa. We go behind the scenes with Cookston Crafts (p 70), get a peek at the best Scheepjes yarns to try (p 82), and announce the winners of our inaugural CraftWorld Awards (p 26) – as voted by you!
