Welcome to your sneak peek of a very fruity and colourful issue of Knit Now!

This month, as we head into spring, we wanted to focus on bright, fun colours reminiscent of tasty, juicy fruits, so we’ve got an issue full of garments, accessories, homewares and kids’ knits to tick all those boxes.

Our cover garment this issue is Laura Barker’s Tutti Frutti jumper (page 11). It uses a clever short-row technique to create a beautiful berry-inspired yoke.

Jane Burns’s Watermelon cardigan on page 17 is a fun, colourful knit for children.

And we love Sophie McKane’s Citrus Slice hat and mitts on page 50 – they’re so bright, they’ll certainly lighten your mood on a cloudy day!

This issue, we’ve got a wonderful pattern book for you from West Yorkshire Spinners, featuring an exclusive Frida Kahlo-inspired design. All these patterns can be knitted with the chunky needles that come with this issue, so there’s no excuse not to get started knitting right away!

We’re also offering the chance to win a beautiful rainbow of yarn on page 37, and our friends at Wool Warehouse are giving readers 20% off Rico yarn on page 73. There are also great reads on knitting in a more eco-friendly way (page 32) and also tips on how you can knit for charity (page 56).

We hope you find plenty of things to enjoy in this issue!
