Just for you- alternative distress flame effect valentine's card
To turn the carrot into a DIY roller stamp, carve tear shapes around the barrel of the carrot. You only need to carve around 10cm, then cut off the rest.
Roll the carrot onto an inkpad or add the ink to the carrot directly. If using paint, roll the carrot into a thin layer of the paint on a craft mat or add it to the carrot using a sponge.
Roll the inked carrot onto a cardstock panel and repeat until you get a texture you’re happy with. Mat the panel onto a slightly larger piece of orange cardstock and secure to the card front.
Slice the carrot into 2cm wide discs and use a craft knife to carve a large heart into one of the disc faces. Repeat for a small heart.
Dry to carved carrot heart with kitchen towel then press it into the Jet Black inkpad and stamp the image onto white cardstock. Repeat as needed for both hearts and cut them out.
Use 3D foam pads to adhere the hearts and a stamped sentiment onto the card front as shown to finish.
