Just because- vintage die-cut embellished layer butterfly card

1

Cover a 6”-square card blank with brown Adorable Scorable cardstock. Matt and layer with cream and teal cardstock, leaving narrow borders all around.

2

Emboss a 5” square of grey Adorable Scorable cardstock using the butterfly dance mask and a die-cutting machine.

3

Pierce around the edges with a pokey tool then draw stitch lines with a brown fine-liner and secure to the card front.

4

Die-cut a cream scalloped circle and place it in the centre of the card front. Cut a plain lilac circle and pierce the edge and create the stitching. Attach it to the scalloped circle using 3D foam pads.

5

Using brown ink, stamp the flowers and leaves on to the cream, lilac, teal and grey cardstock. Fussy-cut and distress the edges to add definition. Fix the flowers and leaves in place around the edge of the circle using both glue and 3D foam pads to create extra dimension.

6

Stamp the butterfly twice onto cream cardstock, cut them out, ink the edges and attach the body sections together. Place it onto the circle then add a small trail of pearls below.

7

Stamp the tag onto cream cardstock then cut it out and punch a hole in the top. Add ribbon and tie in a bow and mount in the bottom corner using 3D foam pads. Add pearls in the other three corners to finish.
