Joy To The World Poinsettia Christmas Card
Create this card using Stampin’ Up! Under the Mistletoe Designer Series Paper, Hearts Come Home & Pop of Petals stamp set & Delicate Lace Edgelits dies

Create a green 4¼x5½” tent-fold card blank and cover the front with a slightly smaller piece of patterned paper.
Cut a 4½x3¼” piece of thick white cardstock and follow the step-by-step guide below to create the partial die-cut panel, using a rectangle die and fancy edge border die.
Attach 3D foam pads to the reverse of the die-cut rectangle window and adhere to the card front.
Use red ink to stamp five flowers onto thin white cardstock and punch out. Use Shaded Spruce ink to stamp a different flower twice onto thin white cardstock card, punch out and trim into individual petals to create the leaves.
Use VersaMark ink to stamp the sentiment onto black cardstock and heat-emboss in white. Trim into a banner shape and attach to the left-hand side of the card front as shown.
Tie a bow from a length of green ribbon then adhere all the elements to the card front. Add gold faceted gems to the centre of the flowers, apply wet glue and sprinkle over gold glitter then leave to dry.
How to… create a die-cut window scene. Die-cut several rectangles from the same die you will create the window from – experiment with how many pieces of cardstock your machine will take.
Adhere all the pieces together so they stack neatly on top of one another. This will create a raised surface that the border die will cut from.
Place the layered rectangle on the reverse of the white sentiment panel and secure in place using Washi tape.
Turn the panel back over, add the border die so it fits inside the rectangle and secure using Washi tape. Run through the die-cutting machine using the embossing folder platform.
Secure the same rectangle die over the die-cut pattern and run it partially through the die-cutting machine on the standard cutting platform.
Ensure to only run through the top area above the pattern as shown. Remove the cut out die-cut pieces.
