Joy - a contemporary Christmas card in blue

Score a line 2.5cm inwards from the spine of the card front, fold back and crease sharply to create a hinged card blank.

Use double-sided tape to adhere the border inside the card blank and add a 2x18cm strip of blue cardstock to the border along the card front.

Punch a decorative border along a 14x17cm panel of white cardstock, matt it onto blue cardstock and secure it to the card front.

Cut three 2.5cm-wide strips of blue cardstock in varying lengths and cut a ‘v’ shape at the bottom of each strip.

Stamp a background onto each banner, arrange them onto the card front and embellish with gems. Die-cut a flourish from silver glitter card and affix it to the hinged border.

Affix the sentiment topper onto silver glitter die-cut and mount it onto the card front using 3D foam pads to finish.
