It’s your birthday- metallic watercolour card

1

Prepare the Yupo background as per the illustrated step-by-step skill builder and allow it to dry thoroughly.

2

Cut the contrasting area to measure 3¼x6¾”, then repeatedly stamp the flower and the leaves all over the panel, whilst dabbing off the ink in between stamping.

3

Adhere this panel onto a 1/8” larger black panel, then onto the card front.

4

Adhere the gold Washi sheet onto a piece of the white cardstock and die-cut the large sentiment.

5

Stamp the second part of the sentiment onto white cardstock and adhere both onto the card front to finish.

6

Stamp onto the inked panel, pressing well if using a larger stamp. A stamping tool can help, but isn’t essential.

7

Use a dry paper towel to dab off the Alcohol Lift-Ink from the stamped image. Once dry to touch you can rub off the remainder ink revealing the stamped image.

8

Work fast! Whilst your stamp is still inked up, stamp off onto a white cardstock – you can use this for a co-ordinating card design.
