I Sea It’s Your Birthday, Fun Underwater Seahorse Card

Stamp the seahorses onto a 3¾x5½” piece of white stamping card, then again onto Post-it notes and cut out the masks to cover all of the seahorses.

Cut or tear a piece of copy paper into the shape of a hill, add glue to the back of both masks and, once dry, place the bottom mask over the bottom of the panel. Blend Mermaid Lagoon ink off the edge of the mask, then apply Wilted Violet ink on the centre of the card and Peacock Feathers ink at the top.

Cut six narrow strips of cardstock, curving them as you cut, and then add glue onto the back. Leave to dry, then place the strips across the cardstock and lightly blend Blue Print Sketch ink over the top. Remove the strips of cardstock, spritz with clean water and blot with a paper towel.

Remove the bottom mask and place the top mask over the sea area. Blend Wild Honey ink over the sand area and add depth along the top by blending Vintage Photo ink over it. Squish the Vintage Photo inkpad onto an acrylic block, add a little water then use a brush to flick it over the sand area.

Remove all the masks and colour the seahorses using Distress Ink. Stamp the seaweed along the bottom of the cardstock, then layer the panel onto black cardstock and adhere to the card front.

Stamp the sentiment onto a narrow strip of white cardstock and cut the end into a slant. Layer onto a slightly larger strip of black cardstock and adhere to the card front.
