How to Make Cricut Stickers - WITHOUT a Printer!
We love the print and cut capabilities of our Cricut machines, but what if you don't have a printer, or your printer isn't working? Well, fear not - there's still a way to make a gorgeous sheet of stickers you'll love.
Do you need a printer to make stickers with your Cricut?
Absolutely not! We've figured out a quick and fun way to create unique stickers using just your cricut and two sheets of vinyl.
If you're looking for a fun and easy way to get creative, using a Cricut machine to make stickers is a great option! Not only is it a fun activity that can bring out your artistic side, but it's also a great way to personalize your belongings and add some unique flair to your space.
One of the best things about using a Cricut for sticker-making is that it's incredibly easy to use. The machine does most of the work for you, cutting out your designs with precision and accuracy. All you need to do is upload your design to the Cricut software, load up your vinyl, and let the machine work its magic. It's really that simple!
And the possibilities are endless when it comes to sticker-making with a Cricut. You can create stickers for your planner, laptop, water bottle, or even your car! You can use your favorite fonts, colors, and images to create designs that are truly unique to you. Plus, you can easily customize your stickers to fit your specific needs or interests.
In addition to being fun and easy, using a Cricut for sticker-making can also be a great way to bond with friends or family. You can have a fun craft night and make stickers together, sharing ideas and designs as you go. And the best part is, you'll all have a fun and personalized memento to take home at the end of the night.
Overall, if you're looking for a fun and easy way to get creative, using a Cricut machine to make stickers is definitely worth a try.
How to Make Stickers With Your Cricut - No Printer Necessary!
Choose your design
You should look for an image which is relatively simple and only requires one colour - at least to start with! Text-based images are absolutely perfect for this, as are simple silhouettes.
I've chosen a selection of images from Sassy Crafting by Emma Jewell - this collection is available to download free for CraftWorld Premium members here.

Add your images to your Canvas
Import your images and add them to your canvas, arranging each image into the size and position you want to see on your finished stickers.
I'm using Cricut Design Space for the Explore 3 on a Mac, so your software might look slightly different but the principle is the same.
Single image stickers
To turn a single image into a sticker, select that image and apply an offset as shown.
Multiple image stickers
You can also combine multiple images into a single sticker. To do this, select all of the images you want to appear on your sticker, then apply the offset as before.
Rearrange your canvas if needed
You might now find that some of your stickers are overlapping each other. You can move them around now and resize them if needed.
Prepare your layers
Insert a couple of triangles in the gaps at the top of your canvas to act as "registration marks", helping you to line up your layers of vinyl, first in the same colour as your offsets:
Now duplicate those and pop them at the side for now. Recolour them to the same colour as your images.
In the "Layers" panel, select all of the pieces which will be cut from your backing vinyl - this is all the offsets as well as the triangles. Click "combine" and then "unite".
Position the black triangles exactly on top of the grey triangles. You might find it helpful to zoom in for this task.
Now select all of the black elements in your "Layers" panel and unite them as you did for the grey elements.
Cut out your layers
Now we're getting to the really fun part! Time to fire up your Cricut and get ready to cut.
You will need two pieces of vinyl in contrasting colours. One will be your backing layer and the other will be your images. I've chosen a sparkly silver for the backing and black for the images.
Proceed to make your cuts, following the instructions for your specific machine and materials.
Weeding time!
Weed both sheets of vinyl, making sure to leave your triangles in place.
Image layer
Take your top layer (the images in black) and add them to a sheet of transfer tape.
Peel away the backing.
Add the images to the backing
Using the triangles to line up the two layers, add the images on top of your backing.
And finally!
The last step is to carefully peel away the transfer tape, leaving your stickers behind.
