How to Make Crepe Paper Peonies

If you know me by now, you'll know how much I love anything floral! I seem to collect all things flowery, so I'm super excited to bring you real looking peonies that would make a gorgeous bunch for Valentine's, Birthdays, or Mother's Day.

In today's tutorial I show you how to make the prettiest flowers using professional grade crepe paper - designed for making 3D flowers. I show you how step by step.

These flowers perfectly coordinate with my newly released collection, Grand Day Out. I've used them on my ladies hats and hat boxes.

Step 1

Trim crepe paper into strips with the 'crepy lines' vertical (running up and down) Use the 2 smallest flowers

Step 2

Run through die-cutting machine (layer 2 together for speed)

Step 3

Trim off remaining side petals

Step 4

Stretch out the petals using your thumbs and index fingers

Step 5

Repeat for all the petals

Step 6

Use a hot glue to criss cross the flowers

Step 7

Layer up the crissed crossed petals with hot glue

Step 8

Repeat for the smaller petals and hot glue inside the larger one

Step 9

Add a decorative button and glue to your project

I hope you enjoyed this step by step guide!
