How To Create Partial Die-cut Borders

See how to create such pretty yet quick and easy cards using dies you already have in your stash to create delicate and unique borders.

In this video you'll see Jennifer McGuire demonstrate the partial die cutting technique by selecting a standard floral die from her crafty stash, and using it to create a pretty border. Partial die-cutting is a technique many people are nervous to try - how can you stop the die-cutting sandwich at just the right moment? Well here Jennifer shows how to place the top plate of the sandwich to ensure only the section of the die you want to use actually cuts through. Believe me, it's easier than you might think!

As an added bonus, the video also shows how to turn ordinary, plain card, into shimmer card, using a shimmer spray.

Have a look through your dies and have a play to see which work well for this partial die-cut border technique.
