You can choose to wet the crochet first before pinning, or after as you would when you steam block. However, make sure your work isn’t pulled too tightly out of shape like so.

This example uses lots of pins to make sure the piece is pinned to the right shape.

Make sure you also pay attention to detail such as points, scallops and picots!

Allow to dry, or steam with an iron when fully pinned. Take out your pins and voila!
