Hot Chocolate Mug Decoration

Make sure the mug is clean and dry. Wrap a strip of hessian and a strip of gingham fabric around so that the ends sit either side of the handle (depending on your mug).

Tie the strips of fabric in place with string. If the wrap doesn’t hold in place, use adhesive tape to stick the ends down and hide it with the string.

Hand-cut a holly leaves and berry decoration from coloured cardstock, add the borders using a black marker and secure in place. Add a small bag of chocolate powder and marshmallows to finish.
