Hexagonal and Floral Friendship Card
Learn how to make this colourful die cut floral card
Follow the step-by-step guide to create a water coloured background and image, and to create the spotlight die-cut effect.
To create the shaped card blank, place one cutting edge of the die over the fold of the card blank and die-cut. Trim the stamped panel using the same die.
Simply stamp all the required images you want in the foreground first, then stamp them again onto Post-it notes and cut them out. Use these to protect the original images while you stamp more.
This design features multiple spotlight die-cutting, and this works best if you only apply the technique to the most forefront images.
Complete the card using some scripty word dies and a die-cut butterfly, and add subtle sparkle using the Sparkle pen.
Embellish the card front with Nuvo Glitter Drops and use a gold gel pen to add a butterfly trail as shown to finish.
