Hello - a beautiful watercolour card suitable for any occasion
Learn how to create this soft and whimsical palette with watercolour pens, add a huge greeting matted onto vellum and a flower to finish.
1
Create background by adding colour to watercolour cards and washing out with waterbrush. Set aside to dry or use a heat tool.
2
Once dry, draw squiggles and swirls with a white pen, and trim to measure 11.5cm panel.
3
Add a piece of 12cm square of pink cardstock directly onto the card front at an angle. Layer the watercolour panel onto a slightly larger panel of kraft cardstock.
4
Tear a piece of vellum and add to the card front as shown. Die-cut the sentiment from white and kraft cardstock and layer together slightly offset to create a shadow effect.
5
Add the sentiment to the strip of vellum, then add a paper flower embellishment and Jewel Drops to finish.
