When it comes to stamping, I love to work with embossing powder, and it was probably one of the first techniques that really got me hooked on papercrafting. Taking this to another level, adding water-based mediums over that heat embossing takes me back to my childhood, when we used to draw with a candle or white crayon and add paint over the top, watching it resist.

This technique is very similar, but with the help of the beautiful feather stamp, is much more delicate and detailed than my candle pictures ever were!

This tutorial will work equally as well in different colours, and with other image stamps, but I think you will agree, the softness of the watercolours with the feather is a perfect match!
