Heart & soul - a contemporary sympathy card

1

Stamp four rose windows and one flower then add gold powder to each and heat-emboss. Die-cut the three largest windows into a circle and fussy-cut the smallest to create a nested mandala shape.

2

Rub different colour Distress Oxides onto a glass mat and spritz each one with water. Use a paintbrush to paint each circle including the small flower and leave to dry.

3

Cut a 4x5½” piece of white cardstock and use a spare piece of acetate to dab and blot different colours of ink all over it.

4

Use gold embossing powder to stamp the sentiment onto a piece of vellum, wrap it around the top of the inked cardstock and secure to the reverse. Add the painted flower with a drop of glue behind to keep the vellum flat.

5

Build up the window mandala using 3D foam pads and position onto the inked cardstock as shown. Adhere the entire panel to the card front and add gold gems to the centre of the flowers to finish.
