Have A Purr-fect Day- Fab Shaker card For The Cat Lover
Create this card using stamping, die-cutting, texture paste, inking techniques and acetate to create the shaker
Trim a 5½x4¼” watercolor card panel and stamp the sentiment in black ink. Tape the stencil on top of the panel with purple tape and apply white embossing paste on top from the bottom right corner without covering the sentiment. Allow to dry.
Die-cut the shaker paw twice in grey and in foam adhesive, then die-cut the outline paw from acetate. Pull off the backing paper from one side of the foam and secure the clear acetate on top.
Add strong adhesive to the reverse of the grey paw and affix it on top of the acetate to form a paw shaker element.
Die-cut cat-related elements to fill the shaker window, then smoosh Picked Raspberry and Peacock Feathers on two pieces of plastic and spritz with water. Apply the ink on top of the white stencilled panel, then heat set.
Adhere a striped patterned paper across the bottom of the card blank, then trim the stencilled panel and adhere to the card front using 3D foam pads.
Fill the shaker with cat elements and clear sequins before sealing, then remove the backing paper from the shaker element and adhere it to the card front as shown to finish.
