Happy Birthday Shaker Card

Cut a 13.5cm-square piece of patterned paper and machine-stich a straight border around the edge. Stitch a wavy border on top then affix the panel onto the card front.

Repeat Step 1 onto a smaller square of white cardstock. Cut an aperture from the centre to create a frame and cut a piece of patterned paper the same size as the frame.

Stitch a square of vellum onto the patterned paper panel along three sides to create a shaker pocket, insert the sequins and stitch the final side to seal them.

Attach the white frame onto the shaker panel using 3D foam tape and secure it onto the card front. Add the chipboard elements and ink the edges of the card front.
