Happy Birthday rock star - a fun guitar-themed card for a young rocker

Press Distress Ink onto a glass craft mat or other non-porous surface and spritz with water to activate, then gently press a sheet of mixed media paper on top to pick up the colour. Dry thoroughly with a heat tool.

Print the Rock Star digital image onto the inky background page, setting the image to measure 12cm square. Print another image the same size onto a clean sheet of paper.

Stamp the sentiment in black and clear heat-emboss to the top left corner of the inky panel.

Add a 3cm strip of zigzag paper to navy cardstock leaving a narrow border to the sides and adhere towards the left 14.5cm-square white card blank. Matt and layer the inky background panel onto navy cardstock leaving a narrow border and adhere to the centre of the card front.

Watercolour the main guitar image on the second printed digital image, cut out and paper-piece over the inky panel.
