Happy Birthday – Large Butterfly Card

1

Cut a 14cm-square piece of Sheena Stamping Card. Stamp the Framed Wings towards the right-hand side of the stamping card on an angle and die-cut the right-hand side only. Cut away the excess cardstock up to the butterfly on the top and bottom edges as shown.

2

Add Drawing Gum paint over the butterfly and leave to dry for a few hours. Once dry, scribble random colour patches of Aqua markers onto the craft mat, spray with water and press stamped panel into the ink. Repeat until the card is covered and leave to dry.

3

Stamp the Botanical Butterfly on another piece of stamping card and colour using Spectrum Noir pens. Once the other butterfly has dried remove the Drawing Gum and colour using Spectrum Noir pens. Attach the small butterfly over the larger one using 3D glue gel gel.

4

Cut a 26.5x15cm piece of Centura Pearl Card and score at 11cm. Layer the stamped panel onto slightly larger pieces of blue and turquoise Mirror Card and adhere the panel to the card front as shown.

5

Cut a 15cm-square piece of blue Mirror Card and adhere inside the card blank. Die-cut the sentiment from blue Mirror Card and add to the card front with gems to finish.
