Happy Birthday Heart Shape Aperture Reveal Card
Learn how to create this part cut heart aperture and then decorate with die-cut sentiment and sequins
Scribble one of the pens onto a craft mat, pick up the ink with a paintbrush and brush it onto a 11.5cm square panel of white cardstock. Apply the other colour in the same way and allow to dry.
Secure a medium-sized heart die onto an 11.5cm square of teal cardstock with Washi tape, add the panel to your usual die-cutting sandwich but place the top plate partly over the die, then partially die-cut the top of the heart.
Repeat to partially die-cut the bottom half of the heart, remove the die and use a craft knife and ruler to cut the heart in half to make two doors.
Layer the die-cut panel on the coloured square from Step 1 and a panel of peach cardstock and mount it to the card front using 3D foam pads.
Die-cut the word ‘Happy’ from peach cardstock, stamp the word ‘birthday’ onto a banner of white cardstock and layer them into the aperture. Add sequins to finish.
