Happy Birthday Fun Stripy Concertina Card
Great card to create with patterned papers, die-cuts, stamping and layers
Trim a white 12x12” cardstock into three strips of 4x12” then score each strip at 2.5”, 5”, 7.5” and 10”. Trim away the excess 2” from one piece, then partially die-cut the largest Scalloped Tag from the 2” section of the two other strips.
Adhere the three pieces together with the die-cut tags at either end to form a long concertina card as shown. Matt and layer each section with patterned papers and red cardstock, leaving a narrow border.
Die-cut 10 white 3x1.75” Wonky Stitched rectangles, then stamp the ‘happy’ sentiment onto one and adhere to the first panel. Then adhere the other nine to the other panels.
Cut the letters to spell ‘BIRTHDAY’ in red and adhere to the centre of the die-cut rectangles as shown. Stamp ‘to you’ onto white cardstock, trim, layer onto red cardstock and adhere to the last panel as shown.
Matt and layer the front and back cover with patterned paper and red cardstock, adding a strip of paper to the tag. Wrap a length of ribbon around the card to tie it together to finish.
