Happy Birthday Floral Die-cut Card
Create this card using the Free gift from issue 35 of Die-cutting Essentials & the Free gift from issue 172 of Simply Cards & Papercraft

Take a piece of 13.5x14.5cm patterned paper and distress and ink the edges. Affix to the card blank.
From kraft cardstock, die-cut one of the largest of the layering dies. Using the next size down, die-cut another from patterned paper and distress and ink the edges. Matt and layer the die-cuts.
Using the larger shape from the free gift die, place the oval over the centre of the matt and layered die-cuts. Run through die-cutting machine. Rotate die 180°, line up the oval and again run through die-cutting machine to make an oval aperture. Distress and ink the edges of the aperture.
Using the decorative frame from the free gift die, die-cut four frames from white cardstock, then snip into them so you’re left with just the swirly sections. Attach them to the back of the layered die-cuts to create a custom decorative frame as shown in the picture. Adhere the panel to the card front using 3D foam pads.
Stamp your chosen sentiment, cut out with scissors and distress the edges. Attach to some hessian ribbon and add to the card front as shown. Add a paper flower and string pearls to finish.
