Happy birthday- bold sparkly sentiment card

Cut white cardstock to 1/8” smaller than the card base and place it landscape on your craft desk. Position two post-it notes on the panel, with a width slightly smaller than the chosen background stamp.

Line up the cross-stitch border stamp on a stamping block and stamp repeatedly, switching colour, until you have a faux-stitched stamped background panel. Remove the masks.

Heat-set the stamped area, treat with an embossing tool or wipe the area with an anti-static bag and stamp the Mega ‘happy’ word on top using VersaFine Onyx Black ink.

Whilst still wet, sprinkle with Clear Sparkle embossing powder and heat to set. Stamp the word ‘BIRTHDAY’ on spare cardstock in Rose Bud ink and repeat the heat embossing. Adhere the sentiment to the panel, then the stamped panel to the card blank. Embellish with enamel dots.
