Happy birthday - an ideal card for a nature loving lady
See how to use watercolour pencils to give the soft and pretty colour to this stamped image
1
Stamp the design onto a 10cm square of white cardstock, then again twice more onto white cardstock.
2
Colour all of the images using watercolour pencils, blending with a waterbrush and colour the background of the panel as shown.
3
Cut out the butterfly wings and flower petals from the extra designs and paper-piece them onto the focal panel using 3D foam pads.
4
Mat the focal panel onto black and kraft cardstock as shown, then secure to the card front.
5
Stamp ‘Happy Birthday’ onto the bottom of the card using black ink, then tie a length of twine along the spine of the card front and embellish the corners of the focal kraft frame with pearls to finish.
