Happy birthday - a pretty and cheerful card for a flower lover
See how to create this pretty card using patterned papers and by using pastel coloured paints to add colour and definition to the heat embossed flowers.
1
Cover the card front with patterned paper and layer a 2.5x15cm strip of contrasting paper down the right side of the card front.
2
Stamp the flower stems onto a white die-cut rectangle and affix to the card front.
3
Stamp and heat-emboss three semicircles onto a piece of white cardstock, colour using watercolours and cut out. Shape the toppers and secure to the card front.
4
Tear a border of vellum measuring approx. 2.5x8cm, stamp the sentiment on the left side and adhere to the card front as shown to finish.
