Happy birthday - a bright and cheerful card for a winter birthday
Learn how to make this card using a variety of fun techniques - heat embossing, resist inking, blending, faux bleaching, and watercolouring.
1
Stamp berry sprigs around the edges using the Cantaloupe ink.
2
Stamp the sentiment in VersaMark ink on a 12.7cm square of white cardstock and white heat-emboss.
3
Using an ink-blending tool, cover the whole piece with the Evergreen Bough ink. Spritz water over the piece and dab off the excess using kitchen paper. Affix the inked panel into the centre of the card front using 3D foam pads.
4
Stamp the flower and berry sprigs onto spare white cardstock in black and colour in. Add detail using a white gel pen and cut out, leaving a narrow border. Affix to the card front as shown using 3D foam pads.
5
Add pearls in the corners of the green panel to embellish.
