Gerbera Congratulations card
Create this stunning congratulations card featuring stitching, foil and distressed ink effects
Cover the card front with patterned paper and cut a panel of watercolour cardstock slightly smaller than the card front.
Ink the embossing folder using VersaMark ink and dry-emboss the watercolour panel from Step 1.
Sprinkle embossing powder onto the dry-embossed panel, tap off the excess and heat-emboss it. Add Distress Inks to the piece using a paintbrush and water.
Stitch the left and right side of the embossed panel and affix it to the centre of the card front. Secure tin foil to a piece of thin cardboard and die-cut the flower petals and leaves.
Paint the die-cut petals and leaves with white paint and leave it to dry. Once dry, add alcohol inks to the pieces and adhere the assembled flower with a brad.
Adhere the flower to the card front and add adhesive dots and a sentiment as shown to finish.
