Fun Happy Birthday Card For A Son Who Loves The Circus
Mixed media easel card made with printed papers, chipboard letters, die-cuts and layers

Create a 6”-square card blank.
Cut a piece of kraft cardstock measuring 6” square, cover with brick-patterned paper and ink the edges.
Fold the card front in half horizontally 3” from the end. Attach the piece from Step 2 to the bottom half of the flap to create an easel card.
Attach a 6”-square piece of brick-patterned paper to the inside of the card.
Layer the ‘Welcome to the circus’ die-cut onto star patterned paper and trim, leaving a narrow border. Ink the edges and attach as shown using 3D foam tape.
Thread a double length of baker’s twine through each of the chipboard banner pieces, tie a knot at each end and attach to card.
Cover the chipboard ‘S’ and ‘N with patterned paper and attach a flair badge between the letters to spell ‘son’.
Add sentiment stickers to spell ‘Happy birthday. Cut a narrow strip of green patterned paper, ink the edges and attach along the bottom of the card along with a token game button and adhesive pearl to finish.
