Friendship - a sparkly card for a very good friend
Combine traditional stamping and inking techniques with stunning Groovi parchment work
Stamp the boy and girl onto a white 8½x11” panel, tap a range of inks onto a craft sheet, spritz with water and place the panel on top to create the background and dry using a heat tool.
Use a glue pen to add glitter highlights to the background, matt the panel onto black and white cardstock layers before securing to the card front.
Use low-tack tape to secure a piece of parchment to the Groovi plate, then use the large embossing tool to emboss the frame, moving the parchment to extend the frame to fit the focal panel.
Colour the frame using Perga Colours pens, picot-cut it as is shown here and secure it to the card front using glue dots.
Use a scrap of parchment and the Jayne’s Fuchsias plate to emboss a butterfly, colour and cut as before, and affix it to the frame.
Stamp the sentiment onto the card front and add glitter highlights as shown to finish.
