We've been building a new Pinterest board full of our favourite fabric hat patterns for kids and adults, including lots of free hat making patterns.  The beauty of sewing your own summer hats is that you can coordinate them perfectly with your summer wardrobe. Fabric hats can also be rolled up so they don't take up all the space in your suitcase or arrive flattened and misshapen to your destination like a straw hat will.

In issue 3 we show you step by step how to make a sun hat with a matching sunglasses case.
