Forest deer - a beautiful pastel coloured card for any occasion
See how to create this beautiful landscape using heat embossing, ink blending, stamping, and fussy cutting.
1
Using the ink-blending tool with Distress Inks, gently blend a soft sky moving down to a grass area towards the bottom-right corner of the card front and allow it to dry.
2
Stamp and heat-emboss the birch trees three times across the inked area, alternating the orientation of the stamp for interest.
3
Cut five thin, curved pieces of green cardstock and add white dashes along them using a white gel pen. Add them to the base of the trees as shown.
4
Stamp the deer using brown ink, fussy-cut it out and add it to the forest scene. Place a thin strip of blue cardstock to the left side of the card front to finish.
