Flowers - a beautiful floral card for a close friend
See how to make this fabulous card using ink smooshing and faux bleaching to create the background, and twisted wire to create the flower stem.
Swipe Shaded Lilac ink across a piece of acetate and spritz with water
Press a 4.5" x 6.5"piece of white cardstock onto the panel, using your fingers to spread the ink across the background. Remove the card and dry the ink using a heat tool. Repeat the process using Broken China ink.
Cut seven lengths of silver wire, twist the wires together to create the base of the tree and fan the ends at varying heights to create the branches.
Staple the wire tree onto the focal panel, and stamp the sentiment as shown.
Stamp a selection of flowers onto white cardstock using Shaded Lilac ink, cut them out and arrange them on the tree.
Colour the edges of a white 4¾x6¾” panel, using Broken China Ink. Ink the edges of the focal panel using Shaded Lilac Ink and affix it on top.
Splatter the design with watered down Worn Lipstick Distress Paint, dry using a heat tool and affix the panel to the card blank to finish.
