The inspiration for this blanket comes from Rosina's childhood, and her love for the famous Flower Fairies paintings by Cicely Mary Barker. These paintings stuck with her so much, that in 2021 Rosina started working on a design of her very own, a fairy sitting amongst some of the flowers she could see in her own garden, such as bluebells, dandelions and grape hyacinths.

Over the next couple of years, Rosina kept adding a little more ot the design, until Autumn 2021 when the it developed into something very close to what you can make today! Rosina's blankets are always so striking and inspirational, and this brand-new blanket is such a delightful addition to the collection.

The Fairy Dust CAL is an eight-part crochet along that is worked in the overlay mosaic crochet technique, and finished off with a beautiful envelope border to cover any loose ends. Although Rosina's blankets always look so detailed and perhaps a little complicated, mosaic crochet only uses very basic stitches, such as chain, dc and tr), and there are no colour changes within the rows which makes it suprisingly easy, and very addicitive!

Rosina has thought of absolutely everything with this blanket, and has even designed it in four fabulous colourways, all using Stylecraft yarn. So, no matter your personal colour palette, there is a design for you!

The first part of the CAL is released on Tuesday 11th June, so there's just enough time ot ead out and get your yarn so you're ready to get stuck in! The following parts of the CAl will be released as follows:
