Fabulous friend - a stunning and colourful easel card for a special occasion
Learn how to make this heart-shaped easel card using patterned papers and heart dies to showcase the stamped flowers
Position a heart die onto the card front so the top overhangs the folded edge and cut through both layers. Fold the top heart in half inwards and attach another pink die-cut heart to this to create an easel base.
Die-cut two slightly smaller hearts from white cardstock and attach one to the card front and one to the base as shown.
Die-cut a smaller white heart. Cut four 9x3.5cm pieces of different patterned paper and trim each piece diagonally to form triangles. Place the pieces onto the white heart with the points of the triangles meeting at the top then trim the edges. Attach the heart to the card front using 3D foam pads.
Die-cut a heart from yellow patterned paper and layer onto the card base. Stamp the flowers image three times onto white cardstock, colour using markers and cut out.
Use 3D foam pads to attach one of the flower images to the top of the heart on the card front and the remaining two to the card base as shown.
Stamp a sentiment onto a yellow die-cut heart and use 3D foam pads to attach to the card base to act as a stopper. Add pearls to the centre of the stamped flowers to finish.
