Dreams - a magical, dragon-themed card for any occasion
Make this card using a gel press and inks to create the moon, add stamped images of dragons and a fairy, and add a sentiment on parchment to finish.
Load up the brayer with Antique Linen ink and roll it on to the gel press. Load up the brayer with Evergreen Bough and roll it half way across the gel press.
To create a large moon, mix Moss Green Brusho Powder with water and use the fan brush to pick up the liquid and splash directly on to the gel press. Place a 17.5cm square piece of Multifarious cardstock over the gel press and rub over with your hand, lift off and dry.
Stamp the dragon using Nocturne ink over the top half of the moon. Stamp Rory so he’s looking up at Ollar.
Divide the card into quarters. Add one of each of the dragons from the Dragon Set in each corner, using Shady Lane ink.
Stamp ‘Dreams’ onto the parchment and coat with clear embossing powder. Heat to set.
To make the backing panel, brayer Evergreen Bough Ink diagonally over a 19cm square of cardstock, starting in the corners and working into the centre.
Finish off the panel by adding highlights to Rory and glitter to Ollar. Affix the parchment strip over the bottom-left corner and affix the panel to the card blank to finish.
