SIMPLY MAKE
1 Cut a piece of pink cardstock to 4½x9”, score at 4½”, then burnish the fold to create the card base. Place a 4¼” scalloped circle die onto the card, ensuring the top of the die hangs over the folded edge of the card base, run through your die-cutting machine, then remove the die to reveal your shaped card blank.
2 Die-cut a smaller scalloped circle from dark pink cardstock, emboss, then adhere to the card front using 3D foam pads.
3 Using the largest butterfly from the set, die-cut a solid shape from pink cardstock, remove from the die and set aside. Cut two more butterfly shapes from both pink and dark pink cardstock, this time adding in the centre detail die. Once die-cut, remove all of the waste sections, then adhere to the solid butterfly by adding glue to the body section only, bending the wings upwards.
4 Cut a length of pink wire and curl the ends around to make the antenna for the butterfly, secure the wire to the underside of the butterfly body, then adhere the butterfly to the card front. Add a row of pink gemstones to the body of the butterfly.
5 Stamp the sentiment onto a strip of white cardstock using black ink, use a sponge dauber and Worn Lipstick Distress Ink to edge the sentiment, then adhere to the card front using 3D foam pads.

Secure the dies in place using low-tack Washi tape

1 Place the circle die onto the card, ensuring the top section hangs over the folded edge.
3 Run through your die-cutting machine, ensuring it has cut though both sides of the card.
4 Remove the tape and pull the excess card away from the cutting die.
5 You are now left with a shaped die ready to decorate.
6 Add contrasting die-cut layers to the card.
