Step one:

Begin cutting out leaves using a mix of  green cardstock in different shades.

Step Two:

Cut out a small selection of leaves in gold glitter cardstock.

Step Three:

Keep cutting leaves until you have at least 50 leaves.

Top tip: For cutting large amounts of the same shapes, set up in front of the TV, it’ll make the cutting much less of a task!

Step Four:

Wrap your wreath base with the green glitter tape, Work all the way around the wreath, slightly overlapping the tape as you go. Wrap the whole wreath to give a good base for your leaves to stick to.

Step Five:

Using a green ink pad, add ink to the edges of a quarter of the leaves you have cut to add extra dimension.

Step Six:

Take each leaf between your fingers and thumb and press carefully to add a curl to each leaf. This will help them look more natural and give your wreath a 3D look.

Step Seven:

Use a glue gun to glue the green leaves to the wreath base. Start at the outer edge of the wreath and work inwards as you layer up the leaves.

Cover two thirds of the wreath, so that some of the green glitter remains visible.

Step Eight:

Once all of the green leaves have been added, Add the gold leaves into the wreath. Space them carefully to add a touch of glitter!

Step Nine:

Cut a length of twine about 15cm long, fold it in half then thread round the top of the wreath. The wreath is now ready to hang!
