1

Create a 13.5cm-square card blank from kraft cardstock. Ink the edges of a 12.5cm piece of patterned paper and a 13cm piece of white cardstock and layer onto the card front, leaving a narrow border.

2

Die-cut a stitch square, one small flower, two leaves and a ribbon border. Emboss the flower details and colour with rose ink whilst it was still in the die. Ink the edges of the leaves with Walnut Brown.

3

Using three strands of embroidery thread, back-stitch the details onto the square, flower, leaves and border. Draw around the inside panel of the stitch square die to hand-cut two centre panels. Ink the edges and glue in position.

4

Die-cut and emboss the bird on branch, using a liquid chalk pen to add accents through the die.

5

Cut two Happy Birthday sentiments, inking the top sentiment and adhering together to create a shadow effect as shown.

6

Thread ribbon through the border die-cut and layer all of the die-cuts onto the card front, affixing some using 3D foam pads for dimension.

7

Die-cut two fringe tassels. Die-cut two tassels and trim a piece of embrodery thread long enough to wrap around the fold of the card front.

8

Tape both thread ends onto the inside of the tassels and roll the shapes to form the tassels, securing with a small dab of glue. Embellish the card with pearls, paper flowers and gems to finish.
