Using first and second-generation stamping, repeat with a couple of colours to fill the sentiment background panel.

2

For the top half of the background, use a mixture of solid first-generation stamping and ombré first-generation stamping too, offsetting the tiny triangles background stamp to fill in the space.

3

Trim both panels diagonally and adhere to the card front as shown to cover the card front, leaving a narrow border. Colour a narrow strip of white cardstock using a co-ordinating Copic marker, and glue over the join in the two panels.

4

Stamp the hippo image onto white cardstock, colour, fussy-cut and affix in the bottom corner. Die-cut ‘birthday’ from white cardstock, cover with VersaMark ink and heat-emboss with gold sparkly powder and adhere above the coloured strip of cardstock.

5

Stamp the ‘MAKE A SPLASH’ sentiment onto white cardstock using VersaMark ink, sprinkle with embossing powder, trim into two pieces and mount onto the card front either side of the ‘birthday’ sentiment to finish.
