Thread the beads onto the yarn. Work to the place where you want to add a bead.

Work a treble crochet stitch to the point where you have 2 loops left on your hook. Bring a bead up to the top of the yarn.

Catch the yarn beyond the bead and complete a treble crochet stitch in the usual way.
