Crochet Paddington - making his legs
If you're having problems crocheting Paddington's legs, please follow these instructions and do ask if you need any further help.
Make sure the feet are facing forwards. When the pattern says to join horizontally, this is to make sure Paddington doesn't have his feet facing the wrong way!
With the working yarn attached to the second leg, work 1 dc into the first leg (the one you already fastened off) in the st that lies next to where you hook is on the second leg.
The legs are now joined!
Continue to dc around the top of the first leg, 36 sts in total, including the first joining dc.
When the first leg is finished, do not break the yarn, instead continue round the second leg, started in the st next to where your last stitch was.
When you have finished dc around the second leg, you have set your new round (this is Rnd 1 of the body). You can now move onto Rnd 2, working around 72 sts in total.
