Although they started off with dies and are probably most well-known for their range of nestable die sets, they've recently branched out with a range of tools.

The latest addition is a stamping media plate, which we're going to take a look at now.

What is a stamping media or gel printing plate?

A gel printing plate allows you to construct backgrounds on a non-porous surface before applying it to your chosen media. It's great to try different paints and ink, bringing in blending and brayering techniques to create patterns that will be unique each time. Simply press your cardstock over your prepared plate, rub to transfer the colour then pull your print.
