Welcome to issue 35 of CraftWorld Magazine, the only magazine dedicated to bringing free inspiration to sewists, papercrafters, knitters and crocheters every single month!

I cannot wait for summer to begin, there is simply no better feeling than the sun beaming down whilst you have a nice picnic in the park with friends. This issue is packed with everything you will need to get summer ready, including the Wanderlust Backpack that can fit all your summer essentials for any adventure you get up to! (page 11) We have a bright rainbow sailor vest perfect for your little one (page 51) and a beautiful Lavender Stole to keep you warm during a summer nights breeze over on page 38. For our cardmaking fanatics we have bright and bold inventive makes using the Wild Meadows kit, that are fit for any occasion (page 8) plus, the perfect stamping projects for catching up with friends over on page 44. For Chloe's Creative Card's fans out there (which is of course, all of us) you can now create like Chloe with her delicate fairy themed makes on page 32!

However, if you are more in the mood to set down your stamp set and crochet hook and read something fun in the sun, we have you covered. Starting with helpful tips on how to add shape and form to your garments with an incredible sewing masterclass on page 35. My favourite this month was learning all about Batool Showghi uses fabrics to represent the experiences of women, this moving, emotional work of art is a must read! (page 29) Plus, if you are wanting to learn essential knitting skills, tips and tricks then page 54 is for you, whether you are just learning the craft or a long-time knitter there is always something to learn.

We also have a look down memory lane with past winners of Cardmaker of the Year, as they show their favourite makes that have appeared in the magazines! But don't forget, your time to enter our HIGE competition is nearly up – this year's competition closes 6th June, so don't waste any more time and turn to page 24 to find out how to enter. You could win your share of over £17,000 with of prizes and a place on our Design Team!

All this plus, so many more projects and interesting reads to get you inspired this month. I hope you enjoy this issue as much as we do, and if you do, please share it with your friends!

Happy crafting,

Jessica x
