Welcome to issue 34 of CraftWorld Magazine, the only magazine dedicated to bringing free inspiration to sewists, papercrafters, knitters and crocheters every single month!

April showers are forming puddles on the floor and grey clouds in the sky so, I thought I would pack this issue with the boldest and brightest makes to bring you some sunshine. I am hoping that if we prepare enough for warmer and sunny days, we may manifest them into existence... maybe it's just wishful thinking! But of course, we also have a few makes that will keep you warm during the cooler days. Kick-starting this issue, we have Katie Skilton showing us how she gets the most out Simply Card's & Papercraft 255's Fancy Foliage die set (page 8), and a beautiful Beira Balloon Stitch Cowl made from super-soft yarn and is perfect for whatever the weather (page 16). Plus, we have a masterclass to help you become an expert in flattering A-line shapes and stylish details over on page 35.

However, if you are more in the mood to set down your die set and knitting needles then do not fear, we also have you covered with some inspiring reads. Including, a hot list og some of our favourite sunset themed yarns (page 29), a shopping guide perfect for both sunshine and showers over on page 58 and an interview with Sarah Gray to celebrate Funky Fossil's fifth birthday! (page 63) But my favourite read this month must be our author interview with Daniella Taylor and Venice Shone on page 51, it is the perfect read to sit back with a cup of tea and enjoy earning about their first ever book!

We also have the return of our biggest competition ever! Cardmaker of the Year is back with an amazing prize bundle of over £17,000 worth of crafting goodies for four lucky winners to share! Turn to page 24 to learn how you could win big, plus, get some helpful tips from last year's winners Elisa Moon and Katarina McMahon.

All this plus, so many more projects and cosy reads to get you inspired this month. I hope you enjoy this issue as much as we do, and if you do, please share it with your friends!

Happy crafting,

Jessica x
