Hello!

I'm Natalie Helyer and I'm delighted to let you know that I'm your brand-new CraftWorld Editor! I've been working in the craft industry for the last decade and have had the pleasure of working with the likes of Hunkydory, Crafter's Companion and the eagle-eyed amongst you will recognise me from Die-cutting Essentials and Creative Stamping magazine a few years back. I'm so excited to be a part of the family and to get stuck in to bring you the best crafting inspiration, interactive posts and videos and lots of other treats!

In my new role, it's my job to bring you all the news from the industry and our fantastic family of co-brands. As well as inspirational makes, crafty challenges, tips, tricks and techniques, shopping offers and opportunities to win prizes galore!

I'm an avid crafter, I started with papercrafting and became obsessed with grungy-style mixed-media cardmaking, the messier the better! Since then I've been on a bit of a journey, leaning towards more colourful clean and simple designs. My grandma taught me to sew at a young age and I'm surrounded by lovely humans who knit and crochet too, so I'm forever jumping from one craft to another. My latest phase is quilting, and I do enjoy a weekly bake too using fruits homegrown in my garden. Here are a few bits and bobs that I've made this year...
