City Scape Shadow Box
Using the sky patterned paper as the background, trim to fit the frame (not the aperture).
Die-cut the buildings from both sides of the road-patterned paper and back them with the blue side of the signs patterned paper and fussy-cut. Add lights/details with a white pen.
Cut a piece of light green cardstock to fit the bottom third of the aperture and mount in place on two layers of 3D foam tape.
Layer the two die-cut pieces of buildings on 3D foam pads above the green cardstock. Offset the buildings by trimming to fit the aperture.
Adhere the light brown paper to green craft foam and die-cut the bridge and layer in place using 3D foam pads.
Adhere dark green cardstock to green craft foam and cut the bridge again. Trim away the bridge to leave the trees and grass. Glue these directly on top of the trees.
Adhere the red paper to red craft foam and die cut the train. Glue the train above the bridge.
Trim another piece of light green cardstock to fit beneath the bridge die-cuts and layer up on foam pads to bring it up to the right level.
Stamp the road markings onto grey paper with VersMark ink and heat-emboss with white powder. Trim and affix onto the bottom of the aperture so it will be at a right angle to the scene.
Stamp three cars, a lorry, a fire engine, a plane and a helicopter in black ink on white cardstock, colour and fussy-cut. Mount the plane, helicopter and cards in place using 3D foam pads. Add Glossy Accents to finish.
