Cute card for a boy
Use the largest circle die to cut a semicircle from the edge of blue patterned paper. Affix it to the bottom of the card front and trim the overlapping edges.
Die-cut an 8.89cm and two 1.27cm circles from pale brown cardstock. Fix the smaller circles opposite each other behind the larger circle to create the head and adhere it to the card front so that the left side of the head is placed on the fold of the card.
Die-cut an 8.89cm circle from dark brown, blue and green cardstock. Use the same die to cut the dark brown circle into two ovals and adhere these to the head to represent hair.
Cut a slightly curved line across the blue circle just below the middle. Die-cut a hole in this (the cap) and die-cut the cap’s strap and buckle using rectangle dies. Ink the edges of the strap and assemble onto the cap along with a small button shape.
Use a Pen Nib to draw lines down the cap with blue ink. Use a separate nib to draw green lines on the green circle cut in Step 3 to create the ball. Draw over each of these with pen to create stitched lines. Adhere the ball to the bottom of the card
Die-cut eight fingers using the smallest circle die. Ink the edges of each and secure them in place around the ball. Use the circle punch to create facial features.
Add a hand-cut mouth and hair below the ears. Add white highlights using a Pen Nib and trim the card around the outline of the boy to finish.
