Bon Voyage - a stunning retirement card for a male friend or relative

Stamp the ship onto white cardstock. Apply Fired Brick and Faded Jeans Distress Ink onto a glass mat then pick up the colour using a waterbrush and paint the image. Trim to size and frame using navy cardstock. Stamp and colour the suitcase in the same way then cut out.

Add Antique Linen ink to the card front using a blending sponge and leave to dry. Randomly stamp the words around the card front to make a coloured background then add a touch of Fired Brick ink around the edges, creating a thicker area at the top and bottom of the card front as shown.

Use clear ink to stamp the sentiments onto navy cardstock and heat-emboss using white embossing powder. Trim two into border strips, the same width as the card blank and layer onto a strip of white cardstock. Adhere one at the top and one at the bottom as shown.

Use 3D foam pads to attach the ship panel, suitcase, and the remaining sentiment at an angle to finish.
